Fall Picture Time

Max is now 2 months old and on track to be a big boy. He went to the doctor today and weighed in at 15lbs 9oz and 24.5in tall. Just like with Lucy they had to measure his head twice to confirm the 42.8cm. The doctor said we have two very "sturdy" kids.

Lucy turns 2 in a couple of weeks.

Max is 1 week old and doing great.  He is still a bit confused with the whole day vs. night which is making Mom & Dad a bit cranky.  We're hoping he gets it sorted out very soon!  Lucy is full of hugs & kisses and can't wait until he is ready to play.

Max Goes Home

Thanks to all those who called to wish us well and those who stopped by to visit.  We headed for home Saturday afternoon.  Now the fun begins.

The Birth of Max

The adventure started about 5:00 on Thursday the 15th of July.  Contractions were frequent but not to fierce.  We arrived at the hospital about 6:30 and they confirmed it was going to happen today.  Her water broke about 12:00 with a little help from one of the doctors.  The contractions ramped up in a hurry and by 3:00 it was time to push.  Ten minutes later Maxwell Goss was born.  He weighed in at 10lbs. 3oz (No, that's not a typo!) and 21" long.  Mother & Baby are doing great and anticipate a Saturday afternoon homecoming.
