So this summer has been a busy one but we have had a few moments to snap
some pictures and have a little fun here and there...Lucy is growing up so fast
and she has really been crawling all over the place. She is very busy getting into everything that she's not suppose to and tearing up the house. I call her my 24 lb tornado and she sure lives up to the name! This past weekend Lucy, I and my mom made a short trip to see my Grandparents, Aunt and Uncle and Cousins down in Bedford IN, she actually did very well in the car and only had two small meltdowns..mom and I were thankful for that! It was nice to see everybody and everybody loved seeing Lucy...well here are some pictures of our latest adventures...

Nine Months

Nine months and she's off to the races! Lucy started to crawl last week and she's chasing Lexi all over the house now. She's grabbing hold of everything in site and even pulling herself up to see what's on the coffee table. We're going to have to "child proof" the house this weekend.

Today was also her nine month check-up at the doctors office. They had to measure her head 3 times to confirm.... 48cm. She's just a hair over 24lbs and she stretched up to 30.5 inches tall.

Ever since Pudge was traded he's been in need of a new jersey. His new favorite player is Inge, but we found a Granderson jersey for him and thought we could persuade him. He's only 5 though so when he opened it and saw it was a Tigers shirt he shouted "INGE".

Not wanting to miss out on all the fun, Lucy made a post-bath appearance.

6 Month Check-Up

So this post is a little late, but April was a busy month. I was off to China for a week and a half and since I got back I've been on the phone with them almost every night of the week.

Lucy was in to visit the doctor at the beginning of April for her 6 month check-up. The doctor said all is well. She is still living large according to the national statistics, 97th percentile across the board. The measurements came in at just over 20lbs and 28" tall. The shots were plentiful at this visit too. I think I counted 4 band-aids.

Yesterday we went to buy a new car seat. Her infant seat is only good to 22lbs and her feet have been hanging out of the end for a few weeks now. Of course the new seat is designed to stay in the car permanently so of course we had to buy 2 of them!
